Charming little house in a beach complex. St Cecile is 50 minutes drive from Calais, and 25 minutes from Boulogne-sur-Mer. Perfect for a beach family holiday. Delightful flower filled garden. Wonderful large sandy beach with pools when the tide is out.

 

The Birds Nest is a delightful little house in a corner of a holiday home complex. Open plan Living room/dining room kitchen and WC downstairs. 2 bedrooms and bathroom and shower upstairs. The beach is large and clean sand. When the tide goes out  there are lots of little puddles for children to play in. See photos for the best description.

The Pas de Calais is filled with History, places to visit for both world wars. There are 7 golf courses within 15 - 60 minute drive. There is an  Equestrian centre in Hardelot-Plage (15 minute drive) with eventing and also riding. The sea life centre, Nausica, in Boulogne is a must on a rainy day. Bagatelle amusement park 20 minute drive is great fun for all the family. Boating lake in Ardres - Stone age village - Local markets daily. There is always somewhere to spend your day before returning to relax over a bottle of wine and watch the sunset.
