If you like historic houses and want to experience a house with a difference, this is for you. The rooms are all large, on 3 levels all recently restored and decorated in keeping with a house of this character.
There is a large lounge much kept to it's original features, with sofa, chairs, table and TV. This leads through to the Dining, Kitchen room that is in it's original stone and has a feature of the original pump in the corner. From this french windows go into an area called the coeur by the French as it is considered the heart of the house and is open to the sky. This is ideal for relaxing or eating and is in place of a garden, as like many town houses this house doesn't have one.
The back door opens on to a quiet promenade.
In the lounge the curved wooden stairs lead to a large landing with relaxing or sleeping area. There are 2 bedrooms on this floor, a large double with a balcony where you can take your morning coffee, and larger room that has a double and single bed. In between is the main bathroom.
A large landing on this floor has a relaxing area and there are curved stairs leading to 3rd floor.
On the 3rd floor is a double room with en-suite shower room, this overlooks the coeur and is a beautiful room.
Electric central heating throughout and cooling fans for summer, the fully equipped kitchen has an electric cooker and fridge/freezer plus all the other necessities for self catering.
The Area
