During the winter months enjoy directly access to 220km of ski pistes - chairlifts are 100 metres from the Chalet and you can ski right to the back door. Nearby there is superb cross-country skiing in the snowy tracks of the Bouchet Valley.
In summer enjoy a game of golf, some horseriding or visit the nearby swimming pool. Even waterskiing and sailing on Lake Annecy are only 40 minutes away. But, if you just want to relax at home, make use of the outdoor BBQ area and dine on the balcony overlooking the stunning views.
The locals take unflinching pride in their rich heritage. Stroll around the old village or alpine pastures, sample the cheeses and watch the cows. Make sure you visit one the half a dozen restaurants within 15 minutes walk of the chalet.
There are also many shops locally and an outdoor market on a Wednesday morning in Le Grande Bornand and Saturday morning in the nearby Thônes.
