Les Vignes *** - Puy-l'Évèque - Midi-Pyrénées Camping Village Les Lignes sits peacefully on the River Lot, surrounded by vineyards. The tidy level and green terrain comprises one part with attractive static caravans and one part with bungalows. It's just a few easy steps town to the gravel banks of the Lot. Swimming, boating, fishing dam building... It's a fantastic place for children to play! A swimming pool, nice play equipment, a large sports field and the tennis court complete the amenities. All the detached bungalows have their own pergol (perfect for eating outdoors) and a lawn. The open hearth is ideal in the spring and autumn! You still want to get away from the camp site? Les Trois Vallées *** - Argelès/Gazost - Midi-Pyrénées Les Trois Vallées camp site is proof that a holiday in the Pyrenees need not be boring. Children of all ages will have a great time, especially during the summer months. In the swimming complex, for example, with two huge pools, separate shallow pool for children, spectacular water slides and an indoor pool with sauna and spa. Fun games are organised and there are regular discos with dancing for everyone. This beautiful tidy camp site sits in a valley and the surrounding mountains provide their own microclimate. There is a large supermarket only a few steps away from the site. Very convenient! A cycle path that winds through the valley and past the camp site leads to Lourdes (13km). Interesting trips by car can be made to Col du Tourmalet and the Pic du Midi with outstanding views over the imposing mountainous countryside. Les 3 Sources **** - Calviac/Sousceyrac - Midi-Pyrénées The name Les 3 Sources is well chosen. The abundant vegetation means there are certainly more than three... Just as well, considering the beautiful swimming pool with double water slide, and a toddler's pool. Fun for the children, just like the playground, volleyball pitch and entertainment programme in high season. The pitches in this family camp site are spacious and shaded and there is a separate field for teenagers (only with parents' permission, no groups allowed). It's usually sociable on the terrace and there's no time to be wasted in the surroundings. The Dordogne flows within 20km, with such jewels as Beaulieu, Souillac and Castelnau. Les Genêts **** - Salles/Curan - Midi-Pyrénées Situated right on the shores of the Pareloup lake, you couldn't find a more convenient camp site in the Aveyron! Southern France's largest recreational lake is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts. Swimming, water skiing surfing, sailing, fishing; everything is at hand. The camp site has its own swimming pool with jet streams and a separate shallow pool for the little ones, a small slide, a large wigwam and crazy golf. The shaded terrain is mostly level and the pitches are screened by shrubbery. The best way to explore the beautiful surroundings is by mountain bike or car.Take a drive along the River Lot, with its old towns, lovely bridges and excellent restaurants. Real knights will feel at home in the castle at Calmont d’Olt. The insect world Micropolis is a bit more peaceful... A holiday full of variety right before your eyes! Des Grottes *** - Alliat/Niaux - Midi-Pyrénées Des Grottes camp site nestles amid imposing hills. And just like in every valley, a mountain stream trickles past this naturally green site. Always nice for playing or fishing, and for swimmers the camp site has its own pool, a separate shallow pool for toddlers and two excellent water slides.The site overlooks one of the biggest attractions in the Pyrenees, the enormous caves at Foix. For real spectacle you should go to the cart track at Aigues-Vives, or have a day's professionally supervised canyon climbing, rock climbing, rafting or potholing.
