Midway between Saint-Malo and the Mont Saint-Michel, we are situated 8 miles south of Dol de Bretagne and 5 miles north of Combourg,
we are half a mile west of the village of Bonnemain, on the D9 towards Le Tronchet.

Set in 2 acres of landscaped gardens, meadows and woodland, we overlook the village; a large courtyard allows ample parking.



 
 

We offer four different types of accommodation, all independent having their own caracter with granite walls, exposed beams and parquet flooring; sorry no pets allowed.

B & B - 3 en suite bedrooms in the owners house

La Maison du Bois - a bungalow, sleeps 2 adults and a child
main entrance facing south to the living room with views to our woods, american type kitchen with breakfast bar, 1 bedroom, large shower room and utility room to the east facing side door, with central heating.

Mignon Cottage - sleeps 4/5
spacious living room with wood burner in fireplace, open plan kitchen, staircase to carpeted first floor heated by electric wall heaters, 1 double room facing the rising sun, 1 twin room with single bed in an alcove facing the setting sun; secured private access to the rear.

The farmhouse - sleeps 7/8

The 3 gites have each their washing machine, cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster...

For the 2 smaller gites, bed linen, water, and electricity* are included (note* over 8kw/day, electricity will be charged).

Please bring your own bath towels and dish cloths.
Fire wood off high season is included at Mignon Cottage; garden furniture, barbecue, bicycles, clothes lines, stairgate, cot, indoor and outdoor games; touristic guides, maps and documents; advice on discoveries depending on your taste, hobbies or passions

Lounge at Mignon Cottage

Children are well catered for with beautiful uncrowded sandy beaches within 20 minutes drive, water slides, pools and amusements parks.

The rich history of this area is too abundant to mention but visits to the medieval town of Dinan, the spectacular monastery of Mont Saint Michel and the walled city of Saint-Malo are particularly recommended. Dinard, Fougères, Vitré and Rennes can also attract you. Many excellent golf courses await the enthusiasts in the area, 'Le Tronchet' and 'Les Ormes' being only a few minutes away; tennis, cricket, fishing, horse riding, cycling, go-kart, walking on the foot paths and in the forest.

Local shops include a baker, a general store, a chemist, a hairdresser, a post-office, a tobacconist and several bars. A doctor and nurses live in the village.

We are situated between the market towns of Combourg and Dol-de-Bretagne (7-10 minutes drive), both of which offer a wealth of historic architecture and a very good range of shops.

Try the local restaurants of these two towns, or go a little further to Dinan which offer a wider variety of food or Cancale, famous for its oysters and seafood.
