With plenty of exposed oak beamed rooms, large original open fireplaces, exposed regional honey coloured stonewalls & French furnishings we provide all linen & towels with exception of your own personal pool towels.

Both properties offer : Both the Cottage & Gite include fully fitted and equipped kitchens that include – new cookers, fridge/freezers, microwaves, washing machines including irons, coffee makers and more. The lounge in both properties is full of French charm with large open fireplaces, beams and exposed stone walls. They are furnished with great attention to detail. Each property has a bathroom that offers a shower, a large vanity units with plenty of storeage and mirrors with hairdryers. The Cottage & Gite have their own patio with quality garden furniture that includes a table with sun parasols and your own BBQ. Enjoy your long peaceful, sultry evenings sitting on your patio overlooking the lovely grounds & swimming pool. The swimming pool & the grounds are fully enclosed to ensure families with children can relax with peace of mind. The large swimming pool offers a large surrounding patio area with loungers and parasols.
There are plenty of lovely mature trees in the grounds that offer plenty of shaded areas to sit and read.
THE AREA Tour our website to see what Les Brousses has to offer as it is ideally placed for long lovely walks along lanes and through woodlands, fishing, prehistoric caves, swimming lakes, cycling, golf, horse riding and much more. The regions rivers are ideal for canoeing and several offer canoe hire for the family with life jackets and equipment provided. We have a number of bikes to enable you to explore the local area. If you enjoy golf there is an 18 hole golf course open to the public at Perigueux, plus a newly constructed 18 hole course at nearby Montbron. There is many historical places of interest nearby to enable families to explore. Nontron is another medieval towns nearby that offers a selection of supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, banks, post offices etc. Wonderful freshly baked bread, croissants & patisseries together with a range of other shops are just a few minutes away in Champnier et Reilhac or Piegut. Piegut is approximately 5 minutes away and offers the famous Wednesday market selling local fresh produce. We have local family run restaurants nearby that offer excellent value and welcome families with young children.
