A four-bedroom country house on an acre of land, a terraced hillside with full southern exposure and an unrestricted view of the countryside, just 2 km from the center of a town with all services.
Les Amandiers is a self-catering holiday rental on an acre of south-facing, terraced hillside with panoramic views, 2 km from the market town of Clermont l'Hérault.
The large house is in the Mediterranean style and has been newly remodeled. It has four bedrooms (two doubles, two twins), one bath, one shower room, two separate WC, an all-new kitchen downstairs, a kitchenette with east-facing breakfast terrace upstairs, living room, and garage.
There are plenty of shady spots to lounge in as well as a barbecue terrace and lots of space for kids to romp and explore. A perfect house for a family with children. Families with children will appreciate the secure outdoor space available for children to play while the adults relax.
Even though there is lots to do in the area, the house is so comfortable and inviting that visitors are tempted to spend plenty time relaxing in the garden.

In front of the house is the main patio area, which faces south and is shaded by an arbour and a chestnut tree. Additional gardens stretch in all directions and span several terraces, which are separated by stonewalls. There are ample places to relax, whether you're looking for sun or shade.
The large barn houses a variety of lawn and yard furniture as well as the barbecue. There are plenty of wide, safe spaces for children to play, as well as an undeveloped wooded hillside to explore just 50 meters behind the house. Exterior lighting illuminates all of the walkways, with a switch on the garage terrace as well.
Edible plantings include cherries, almonds, loquats, persimmons, grapes, and an herb garden. Other plants include roses, aromatic lemon balm, beds of irises and shamrocks, roses, lilies, and a host of other flowers.
Accommodation
The front door leads into a newly remodelled kitchen with all new cabinets, countertops, and appliances, including a gas cooker with electric oven and grill, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, etc. A wood-burning stove has been installed in the large terra cotta-tiled fireplace that sits against the west wall. The dining table can accommodate eight.
A large window faces due south over the grape arbour, patio, and across the valley.
The living room also has a south facing window, plus two sofas, satellite TV, stereo, large work/dining table, ceiling fan, telephone. Behind the living room is a utility room with storage shelves, closet, and washing machine. Next to the utility room is an all-new bath/shower room with a pedestal sink, high ceiling, and ventilation fan.
The ground floor bedroom has a double bed and built-in wardrobes. The window overlooks a garden and is shaded by a loquat tree. Next to the bedroom is a WC with a hand basin.
