This pretty apartment is at garden level of the French owner’s house. Situated on a hillside, high up above the small village of Le Tignet, it has wonderful views over the Mediterranean landscape and to the sea. There is a private part of the garden for our tenants with olive trees providing shade, and a large covered terrace with garden furniture for outdoor meals, electric barbecue and two loungers. All the accommodation is on the ground floor. There is a large open-plan living room with two sets of French windows opening on to the terrace. This room has cane armchairs, a television, DVD and a dining area. The kitchen area has a 2-ring electric hob, a microwave oven, a fridge and electric kettle. There is a double bed, 140cm, behind a screen at one end of the living room. There is a shower room with shower, hairdrier and W.C. The house has electric heating. There is no washing machine but tenants staying two weeks may use the owner’s machine. The property is situated near the village of Le Tignet about 10km west of Grasse, an interesting town renowned for its perfumeries. There is a boulangerie and a restaurant about 2km. There is a supermarket, tennis courts and a golf course 5km. The picturesque villages of Cabris, Spéracèdes and Saint Cézaire are within a few minutes drive. All these villages have good, inexpensive restaurants. There are many excursions within an easy drive: the Verdon Gorges which have dramatic scenery are just over an hour’s drive, Saint Cassien lake, which is good for bathing and for watersports, is about 15km and the sandy beaches on the Mediterranean coast are about 30km.
