Ferme in French means ‘farm’ - Ferme Dowèna is set in a picturesque location with extensive views of the Giffre Valley. It is also conveniently located and on the ski bus route for the nearest town of Samoens & Morillon and being only 1000metres to the nearest ski lift.
Ferme Dowèna is situated between the villages of Samoens and Morillon in the heart of the Grand Massif ski area of France in the hamlet of L’Etelley.
Ferme Dowèna recently renovated, but still retaining it’s original character. Originally constructed in 1750, Ferme Dowèna is typical of many farm buildings in the region with the renovated accommodation situated below the large barn unchanged for decades.

Ferme Dowèna situated in theGrand Massif area which has managed to maintain a pleasant and traditional French alps air about them. Ferme Dowèna situated in the hamlet of L'Etelley which has resisted the development of many French Alp resort villages.
Ferme Dowèna haseasy access from the International Geneva airport. When you arrive in Geneva, you have a choice of transport to get you to L’Etelley. You can either travel by taxi, and which should be booked in advance, or you can hire a car. This can be equipped with snow tyres and ski rack on request. Car hire booking is usually done at the same time as you book your flight.
Geneva airport is about an hour by car from L’Etelley.
