You can camp here just a stone's throw from the French capital on a camp site just outside Paris, close to the suburbs of Neuilly-sur-Marne and Nogent-sur-Marne. Camping Le Parc de la Colline is located in Torcy in a quiet spot on the River Marne, in an area with several small recreational lakes.
But it is foremost an ideal base for a holiday with trips out to all the sights in and around Paris. You are soon at Disneyland Paris (15km), Parc Astérix (40km) and of course the heart of Paris with its monuments, shops and beautiful boulevards.
Just a few minutes from the camp site you will find shops, a lake (swimming, surfing, boating) and a metro station with excellent connections to Paris and Disneyland. The camp site's own shuttle service will take you to the metro and can also arrange transport and entrance to the theme parks and to Paris. Very convenient and easy and it will save you time and trouble, allowing you to make the most of your day trips.
The camp site is terraced with lots of natural vegetation. There is a basic shop and simple meals and pizzas are available; while the children tire themselves out in the playground you can prepare for the next day over a glass of wine. This is also a perfect place in low season or for an overnight camp site.
Peace and quite abound on this natural camp site. The chalets, static caravans and camping pitches are ideally situated in marked out grassy areas. The site is the perfect starting point for day trips to Paris and elsewhere. Children will have the time of their lives in the playground.
Water Sports
There is a natural lake just 500 metres from the camp site for wonderful swimming. You can hire water bikes, surfboards, splash around in the shallow water by the beach or have a good swim. There is a playground, snack bar and picnic tables
A bit further on (1km) there is a larger lake where unfortunately swimming is not allowed, but where you can enjoy all sorts of water sports.
Restaurant/Bar and Shop
Delicious pizzas are on sale in the camp site. Take away meals are also available from the snack bar. here is a basic shop (épicerie) on the camp site which has an extensive range.
Surroundings
There is a metro station close to the camp site which will take you to Disneyland Paris (15km) or the centre of Paris (20km). Parc Astérix is just 40km away. The camp site will make your travel arrangements!
