Yscubor Cottage (The Barn) is situated on the coast north of the Cathedral City of St. Davids, in Pembrokeshire. The cottage is near the coastpath and a few minutes in the car from Whitesands Beach, which is a European Blue star awarded beach. Abereiddy beach and The Blue Lagoon is a little further on in the other direction.
The cottage is ideally situated for a walking/beach/siteseeing holiday where you can escape from it all. Families welcome. Short breaks available and pets by request.
Yscubor cottage is a stone barn conversion situated on a queit working farm, with beautiful views and a backdrop of a mountain, which can be climbed.
The property has 3 bedrooms, 1 double and one single downstairs with a family bathroom. The upstairs family attic room is very large with lovely views, and 3 single beds, ideal for families, with a stair gate.
The cottage has a cot if requested and a highchair.
The kitchen/sitting room is open plan, with the kitchen being fully equipped with a washing machine, fridge freezer and microwave, and standard cooker and also a mini-oven, with a good range of crockery etc. There is an Esse range cooker, in mulberry colour which provides the oil central heating and is included in the price for cold weather.
Electric fires are provided for the warmer weather which are economical. The cottage is on an electric meter which takes £1 coins, not included in price.
Bed Linen/towels are included and beds made ready for your arrival.

We have another cottage and both Y Scubor and Bwthyn Bach holiday cottages are situated at Treleidyr Farm on the coast of Pembrokeshire, West Wales 3 miles north of the Cathedral City of St David's. The 12th Century Cathedral and the ruins of Bishops Palace is a destination for many pilgrims and visitors each year, now with a new Refectory.
Treleidyr is in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, near the coast path and only a few minutes by car to Whitesands Beach. Whitesands beach is a white sandy beach awarded with the European Blue Flag, suitable for surfing and now with new cafe facilities. Also there is St. David's Golf Course.
Abereiddy Beach is a little further northwards, a favourite with many families.
Caerfai Beach is a short walk from St David's.
Newgale Beach is situated on the Haverfordwest to St David's Road and is a large expanse of sand with magnificent views.
