Our modern one bedroom terraced house that sleeps 4 persons, is set in the hamlet of Venta Lanuza overlooking the Mediterranean. Our modern 1 bedroom 'duplex' (actually a 2 storey house) sleeps 4 and is set on the modern complex in the hamlet of Venta Lanuza. The complex of only 67 one and two bedroom houses is situated only metres from a sandy cove that has its own bar/restaurant for a refreshing drink after a hard days sunbathing.
The secure complex boasts its own double pool. Venta Lanuza is situated about half way between Alicante and Benidorn, close to the picturesque village of Villajoyosa and is well served by public transport.
Self catering accommodation
The lounge/diner is furnished in a modern style with a 2 seater sofa and a 3 seater sofa bed. The air condition/heating allow for all year guests use.
The round dining table extends giving ample room for 4 diners.
The compact kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave.
The tiled staircase leads to the large bathroom and double bedroom.
The bathroom has a shower in the bath, a sink, toilet and bidet. A bathroom heater allows for comfort in the cooler days of winter.
The bedroom has a built in air conditioning/heater unit, as well as 2 built in wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets providing ample storage. A balcony leads off the bedroom from where you can view the sparkling Mediterranean Sea.
Patio furniture is provide for use on the terrace.
All sheets and towels are included in the rental price and in the case of a two week let, clean linen is provided mid stay.
We welcome a long let with an adjustment to the rental price. The house is strictly a non-smoking house.
The area
Venta Lanuza is a quiet hamlet near the town of El Campello. We can arrange airport transfers from 60 euros return trip. The hourly bus stops outside the complex taking you into El Campello, where you can take the tram to the historic city of Alicante.
The Venta Lanuza train station (request stop) is just 2 minutes walk from our house. The train goes south to El Campello where you change platform for Alicante or go north to the well know holiday resort of Benidorm and onto Denia and other interesting towns and village. The train and tram rides are worth going just for the views. Taxis are cheap compared to British fares, for that late night run home from a show in Benidorn or restaurant meal in Alicante.
Activities nearby are plentiful. Diving, fishing, golf, sailing, swimming, walking, water skiing and wind surfing.
Also plentiful on most days of the week are street markets, from Santa Pola (south of Alicante) to Denia north of Benidorm. A list of markets and market days and other places of interest are in the folder in the house. Theme parks and water parks near Benidorm are only 25 to 30 minutes drive away.

There is a grocery shop just 3 minutes walk that sells freshly baked bread daily.
Islands to visit
isla de Tabarca. By boat from Alicante.
isla de Benidorm, Boats from Benidorm 10am to 6pm.
Penas de Arabi also known as isla mitjana. It is about 150 metres from Benidorm, some people swim there.
