Our gîte is a detached house from late 19th century. It has been recently refurbished. It is surrounded by a courtyard on the front and a walled garden at the back. 800 metres away from the centre of the village of Hardinghen.
Only 20 minutes drive from the shuttle and the ferries !
Self catering accommodation
On the ground floor
There is a dining-room and a completely equipped kitchen (dish-washer, washing machine, electric oven, gaz cooker, fridge and freezer).
Electric heating and wood fire.
A separate sitting-room is also at your disposal to relax or watch TV.
On the first floor
There are two comfortable bedrooms, one with a double-bed and a baby bed, the other one with three single beds. We provide any baby equipment on request (free of charge).
There is a bathroom with a large shower (the bottom can be shut and therefore be used as a small bath for young children.)
There is also independent WC on this floor.
Outside
The garden and yard are altogether 120 square metres. In front of the house, there is a gate that can be locked. At the back of the house, there is a terrace with a set of garden furniture, a flowered garden and a shed where games and deck chairs are at your disposal. Next to the terrace, a brick barbecue is also available.
Shed for bicycles available too.
The Cote d'Opale area
Right in the lovely Boulogne countryside, la Closerie de l'Epinette is idealy located for nature lovers and hikers (footpaths start behind the gîte).
Only 12 miles away from the coast, you will very easily get to the beaches or the Grand site National des 2 caps. Hardinghen is a small village (1200 inhabitants). You will find all the facilities and shops you need to enjoy your stay, typical french bakery, butchery, grocer's, post office, chemist, doctor... and even antiques.
Lots of typical restaurants nearby too.
