Holiday farm cottage near Terrasson and Montignac in the Dordogne

The house is a restored farm cottage, set in a small rural village in Perigord Noir, in the popular and historic Dordogne Region of France.

Self catering accommodation:
The house consists of a large salle de jour, modern kitchen, bathroom, toilet and integral garage and storerooms on the ground floor, with four bedrooms, a small sitting room, shower room and toilet on the first floor.

There is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and two single bedrooms.

There is a sheltered garden at the front of the house and a larger garden with fruit trees at the rear.

There is a private pool for guests use in the garden.

The house sits in a small but secluded area, down a lane, which is not a through road, with three other houses. There are no houses to the front or rear, and there is a small country road which runs approximately fifty yards to the rear of the property, from which the lane to the house is accessed.

The village has no shops, but there is shopping in Thenon and St Rabier, both of which are a short drive away, and well stocked supermarkets in Terrason and Montignac, both of which are some 15/20 minutes drive.

The whole region is famous for many interesting tourist attractions and excellent restaurants, many serving local delicacies including duck, pate de fois gras and walnuts.

You can walk, bird watch, swim, canoe, sight see or just simply relax at Grand Coderc.

Located 10 minutes from the Thenon end of the newly opened Autoroute from Bordeaux.

The house is available from June, July and August 2007 on a Saturday to Saturday basis. Entry is arranged through our local representative, who is English, and resides a few kilometres from Grand Coderc.

The cost of renting the house is as follows:
Low Season- £350 per week
Mid Season - £400 per week
High Season - £600 per week

All prices exclude bed linen which can be supplied for an additional charge.
