The early 18th century Pavillon de Chasse forms part of the Chateau de Charras estate which is set in 13 acres of park land styled after the Versailles landscape architect Le Notre with grassy terraces, lime tree paths, balustrades and sweeping stone staircases.
A large swimming pool set within a walled garden and two tennis courts offer opportunities for active recreation.
The Chateau is situated in south western France on the border of the Dordogne in the village of Charras, 25 km south east of Angouleme.
The Pavillon de Chasse has been faithfully restored to a high modern standard. A sheltered garden patio with teak garden furniture allows for private outdoor dining and lounging. The swimming pool is just a few steps away.
