Pachacaid is a purpose designed and built open air village set in a wooded valley in the Maures Hills giving a peaceful and beautiful setting which is only 5 miles from the nearest beach with many others within easy distance
The site provides many facilities such as shops, washing machines, underground disco, bar, poolside bar, cafeteria, bistro, tennis courts etc as well as a large lagoon swimming pool, childrens pool, outdoor jacuzzi and waterpark which are all very well supervised whilst the local town of Cogolin offers varied shopping, supermarkets and a twice weekly market. A British management couple are retained on site who will meet you on arrival, they know the local area very well and will offer help with any problems or give any information you may need during your stay.
Self catering accommodation
The mobile home provides confortable accommodation for 6 people.
The living room has ample seating, there is a dining area where 6 can eat in comfort. The kitchen is well equipped with a full size fridge and cooker with oven, as well as crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. The bathroom is fully fitted with a flush toilet, wash basin and shower with a large deep tray suitable for bathing young children. The main bedroom has a double bed, plenty of wardrobe space, drawers, vanity unit and good lighting. The second bedroom has two single beds convertible to a double and a single bunk suitable for a young child. If required the dining area can be converted into a double bed. Quilts and pillows are provided but not linens and towels.
The mobile home has all mains services with hot water, excellent lighting and British style 13 amp electric sockets.
Outside furniture is provided with a table and chairs on a flagged patio under a large pergola together with sun loungers.
The price includes the cost of all electricity, gas and water.
Local attractions
Pachacaid is set within a valley of the Maures Hills providing beautiful walks with stunning scenery through pine forests, it also provides an ideal base for those wishing to see the many famous and interesting places in the area.
The vines and vineyards are of course extremly important to the area and it is a must to visit one (or maybe more) of the local vineyards to sample their produce and maybe find a bottle or two to take home for those cold winter nights.
Lunch in the mountain villages of Gassin or Grimaud gives the chance to sample the local food with views you'll find hard to beat or maybe it should be a tour of Port Grimaud with its' amazing network of canals and picture postcard houses. How about a stroll at dusk in St Tropez whilst you dream about the yachts of the rich and famous or enjoy a drink in the fashionable bars and just watch the world go by
Within an easy drive are many interesting towns, maybe Cannes and Nice attract you or the maritime cities of Toulon and Marseilles with their naval history. Monte Carlo and Monaco, the setting of so many films really are a must, you'll soon realise why they are home to so many tax exiles. On the return journey take a detour to Grasse and tour one of the unrivalled perfume houses.
For the sun worshippers it would be hard to find a better area to visit, how about the beaches of St Tropez at Ramatuelle, you just never know who'll be there or Canabiere, known locally as Millionaires Bay and one look at the houses will tell you why, but the holiday won't be complete without a visit to Bregasson, a perfect beach with good safe bathing in a perfect bay set in a pine forest, it has a bar. a restaurant and ample parking making it just the place for those holiday memories.
For the seekers of peace and tranquillity just follow the roads, maybe you'll find the ideal place to sit and ponder or perhaps discover one of the dozens of tiny villages unchanged for hundreds of years
If you want to forget the car our Managers can arrange excursions to many of these places as well as lots of other superb outings, how about a Sunset Cruise round St Tropez Bay whilst you sip a cool drink or perhaps try Scuba Diving with expert tuition.
