Le Petit Bele is a 2 bedroom cottage which adjoins the Manoir Le Bêle a17th Century Manor house situated in the heart of Plenee Jugon.
This typical rural French village in the beautiful countryside of Cotes d’Armor is close to many fabulous beaches and the medieval town of Dinan and only a short drive from Rennes and St. Brieuc.
Le Petit Bêle has recently been renovated to a high standard and is fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
The cottage is situated in the centre of the village and is in easy walking distance of all the amenities Plenee Jugon has to offer, bakery, butcher, supermarket, pharmacy, bank, post office, doctor, dentist and the local bars.
Carp Fishing is available at our nearby private lake. Well Stocked with Carp, Cat Fish. All fishing equipment on site.
Self catering accommodation
Recently renovated to a high standard Le Petit Bêle has 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin. The bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. There is a hair dryer and bed linen is included. A cot is available – linen is not provided for the cot, towels are not provided.
The lounge has large sofa, English television, video player with films and a playstation 1 console with games.
Fully fitted dining Kitchen with pine table, oven and hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, iron. A highchair is available.
Fitted bathroom with multi jet shower, wc and sink unit.
There is a back room which is ideal for leaving fishing tackle, beach gear etc.
To the rear of the property is a fully enclosed private garden and patio with garden furniture,BBQ and swing set.
There are a selection of indoor games and books available and a selection of outdoor games including boules, buckets, spades and bat and ball which you can take to the beach. Also you will find information on local places of interest to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.
A welcome pack is included to provide items you may require on your arrival, e.g. Tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and the necessary bottle of wine.
Local Information
Just a 5 minute drive from Le Petit Bêle is Jugon les Lacs, a beautiful village with bars, restaurants, market and a fantastic 4km lake. Here you can take sailing lessons, hire pedalos , walk or cycle around the lake. There is also an outdoor swimming pool with slides and sunbathing area. Every Friday in August they have live entertainment in the square. Bastille on the 14th July is celebrated with a huge firework display over the lake.
We are only a 20 minute drive from Dinan a wonderful medieval town which also has a magnificent market each Thursday. St. Malo and Dinard are just a 45 minute drive as is the bustling city of Rennes. Market’s play a big part in the French way of life, selling fresh produce and local souvenirs to take home. St. Brieuc is a lovely town with a pedestrianised shopping area. On the outskirts of St. Brieuc you will find a huge commercial centre with the supermarket Carrefour where you can stock up on wine to take home. There are also lots of other shopping units in this area.
Just a 25 minute drive away you will find the finest, sweeping sandy beaches that this area has to offer, very safe for children and as they are so large they never seem over crowded. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in Brittany, and some fantastic seafood restaurants to be found by the coast. Not to be missed are the regions speciallities, Moules and Frites (mussels and chips), Crepes and Savoury Gallettes, which can be found everywhere.
We have some very good golf courses in the area and if you enjoy fishing we can arrange Carp fishing at our private lake.
If you want to travel a bit further a field Mont Saint Michel is well worth a visit. It is the second most visited place in France after the Eiffel Tower.
There are many places to visit nearby, Zoo. Water Park, Aquamarine Centre, Go Karting, Ten Pin Bowling as well as horse riding, cycling, walking, Carp fishing and Golf.
Rental weeks are from 3pm Saturday to 10am Saturday.

A non-returnable deposit of 25% of the total holiday is required to secure your booking. Once the booking has been confirmed send the deposit along with the terms and conditions form signed.
The balance is due 8 weeks before arrival along with the £100.00 security deposit.
A £100.00 security deposit is required, this will be refunded to you after you leave the cottage provided it has been left in a reasonable condition and there are no breakages.
If the cottage needs a thorough cleaning, then £30.00 will be deducted to cover the costs.
