The cottage is in a very small hamlet of about 9 dwellings (not all occupied) situated about 2km from the main village of Scrignac. The property is detached standing, within its own land with a drive to the front. Ideally suited for the maximum of 5 people.

Bedrooms 1 and 2 have a double bed in each room.
Bedroom 3 has two single beds.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a four burner cooker and oven, microwave, fridge with a ** icebox. Adequate saucepans and cooking pots and utensils. Cutlery and crockery for up to 8 people.
Two wood burning fires in the Kitchen and Lounge heat the cottage. There are also three portable electric heaters for the odd chilly night.
The Area
The cottage is in a very small hamlet of about 9 dwellings (not all occupied) situated about 2km from the main village of Scrignac. In the village of Scrignac there is a butchers, general store, post office, pharmacy, bar and a bar restaurant. Larger shops can be found in Heulgoat, Guerlesquin, Morlaix and Carhaix. All within an easy drive.
Scrignac is situated about 45 minutes drive away from either the ferry port of Roscoff or Brest Airport. Scrignac is in the National Park Amorique where there are a large number of woodland walks, Chateaux to visit and hills to climb. 12km away is the small tourist town of Heulgoat, centered on a lake it is the center for the legend of King Arthur. It also has a number of fascinating rock formations, the Trembling Rock, the Champignon (the Mushroom).
In Huelgoat there are a number of restaurants catering from a simple snack through to a substantial meal. During the summer months some of these restaurants have dining tables at the lake side.
30km to the north there are a number of very pretty beaches, these range from wide shallow bays to craggy coves.
Within a 35km radius of the cottage there are cinemas, swimming pools both indoor and outdoor, lake swimming, canoeing, Sailing centers for both water and sand, tennis courts, horse riding, pitch and put golf and just a bit further away championship golf courses.
